Sarah Compson is Director of Standards Innovation at the Soil Association, where she leads the development of organic standards and contributes to the organisation’s broader strategies to support sustainable food and farming. She chairs IFOAM OE’s Interest Group of Organic Processors and Traders and serves on the World Board of IFOAM – Organics International. With 20 years in the sector, she works on issues ranging from aquaculture standards to regenerative farming, aiming to ensure organic principles remain relevant in addressing climate, nature, and health challenges.
